Meet the Trainer

Ryan Mingo is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with over 8 years of experience in strength and conditioning. Over the past two years, he has returned to his first love—basketball—bringing a performance-driven, evidence-based approach back to the game that shaped him.

Jump Labs exists to bridge science and sport. By leveraging peer-reviewed research, data, and modern performance technology, Jump Labs helps basketball athletes of all backgrounds maximize their athletic potential on the court.

In partnership with Ballmatics and the QSLA Foundation, all programming is delivered out of Uchenna Prep Academy's brand-new facilities at 950 Dupont Street in Toronto's Dovercourt area. Ryan also serves as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Sankofas National, Regional, and Junior Teams, ensuring elite standards across every level of development.

Our mission is simple: to make high-quality basketball athletic development inclusive, accessible, and available to anyone with the passion and commitment to master their craft—from recreational players to professionals.
